Getting StartedEdit

So you want to help contribute to the site, great but there are a few things I would like you to follow in order to keep PlantPedia neat, organized and working properly

1. There are categories that are set up, please follow these to keep everything categorized

2. When making a new page please use the right name, for example

(Platanus occidentalis - Sycamore) or (Sycamore) but of course don't include the quotations

and use the standard plant template See Here and of course fill as needed, if you do not have the info needed just put NA so that others will know to fill this area

Some Tips:

if a page needs deleted simply use this tag {{delete|reason}} but replace reason with your reason this will flag me that this page requires deletion

If you think you want to become a even bigger part of PlantPedia talk to me on my user page and I might consider giving you some higher permissions

When adding links to category be sure to use [[:Category:Title|Name displayed]] because if you forget the : before Category it will make your current page become in the Category that you were linking too
